Mrs. Annie Laura Rewis Watkins age 83 of Rainsville, AL formerly of Cobbtown, GA passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at her residence.  Funeral services in Rainsville, AL will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2pm from Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Damon Olson & Bro. Charles Melvin Izell officiating with Rainsville Funeral Home, Inc. directing, www.rainsvillefuneralhome.com.  Funeral services in Cobbtown, GA will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11am from Kennedy Funeral Home’s Cobbtown Chapel (37196 Highway 23 Cobb Town, GA 30420) with burial following in Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Kennedy Funeral Home directing.  Mrs. Watkins was preceded in Death by her two Daughters:  Patricia Ann Rewis & JoAnn Rewis; her parents, Willis & Madie Rewis; her parents-in-Law, Calvin & Olivia Watkins; and one brother, John Henry Rewis.

 Visitation in Rainsville, AL will be on Sunday, March 12th from 2pm-8pm & Monday, March 13th from 8am-2pm.

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 14th from 5pm-8pm at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

Surviving are her husband of 50 Years:  Gene Watkins of Rainsville, AL;  three sons, Steven Michael Rewis and wife Denise of Savannah, GA, Reggie Rewis of Savannah, GA,  and Joe Rewis and wife Darlene of Kingston, GA; a daughter, April Rice and husband Matthew of Fort Payne, AL; two sisters, Rose Cope of Savannah, GA and Jenny Jones of Lake City, GA; an aunt, Katie of Brunswick, GA; a  Sister-in-Law, Jean Rewis of Dareen, GA; four Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Great Nieces & Great Great Nephews.
