Charles Lynn

Charles Lynn, 60, of Collins, died early Wednesday morning at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

Born in Cobbtown, he was the son of William Harold Lynn and Sue Nell Powell Lynn.  He was retired from Register Insulation and was of the Baptist Faith.  Charles loved fishing and sports and especially Nascar Racing.  He was a wonderful Pop and his favorite thing to do was spend time with his granddaughter.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Billy, and Stevie Lynn and his sister, Wanda Lynn Sanders.

Surviving are his daughter, Casey Lynn (Michael) Plamondon of Statesboro; his son, Cale Lynn of Cobbtown; his forever wife, Carla Bland Lynn; a brother, Clyde(Karen) Lynn of Collins; two sisters, Dianne (George) Holland of Cobbtown and Leisa Smith of Collins; a granddaughter, Ellasyn Plamondon; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel with Rev. Larry Hightower officiating.

Interment will follow in Collins Baptist Church Cemetery.
