LaJuan and Debra,

I just came across John's obituary notice. I had no idea he had died. May your memories of love and laughter give you peace.

Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear John, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will continue to reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This happens when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take confidence in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the faith strengthening video **

This is a wonderful encouragement. The web site jw.org says I can request a bible study to learn more. I will do it. thanks

Lajuan,

I was pastor at Collins in the 80's and Johnny was in our youth group. He went on retreats with us. I had lost track of him, asked Collins people about him, and prayed for him often.

Our prayers go out to you and your family in your loss.

If Martha and I can be of comfort, feel free to contact us by email. You are in our prayers.

Blessings,

The Greens

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Johnny. He will always be "Johnny" to me. So many memories from growing up in Collins GA to high school at PCA.
May God please his family!
