Mary Christine Putt Qualls

Mary Christine Putt Qualls, 92, died October 24, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. The Mississippi native moved to Metter in 2006 from Jacksonville, Florida. One of nine children, she had lived most her life in Indiana and Arkansas. Mrs. Qualls is a member of the Metter First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and she and her husband, Jesse Coleman loved to fish. She was preceded in death by her husband, seven sisters and a brother.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Tom Ritchie of Metter; two grandchildren, Stephen Ritchie (Tammy) of Metter and Jennifer Reidell (Ronn) of Jacksonville, FL; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Tanner Ritchie of Metter; four step-grandchildren, Josh, Kelsey and Caine Williams all of Metter and Zack Reidell of Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel with burial in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service time.
