Paula, I was out of town all last week and was so shocked to learn of Monte's death when I returned home and saw it Saturday in Wednesday's Advertiser. My heart goes out to you . . . . I am just so so sorry for your loss! I hope that your faith in Jesus Christ will sustain you and your family as you all adjust to life without him. May your knowledge and surety of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ bring great comfort and peace. Because He was resurrected, we all will be, too, and so we can rejoice in the promise of being with our loved ones again one day. God be with you and yours until you meet Monte again!

Paula, I am so sorry to hear about Monte's passing. As you know, it is a passing to be with Jesus Christ where you will reunite one day. Al left this world almost nine months ago and it was and is the hardest thing I've been through so far. But, your family, friends and church will be a great source of comfort. I joined a grief share study after several months and it was helpful. God does provide what you need, when you need it, even though at the time, it may not seem like it. Monte and you were such an important part in my mom's life and I know she was one of the ones welcoming him into Heaven.

I am so sorry to learn of Monte’s passing. The Tillman family has always held a special place in my heart as we were led to God’s Eternal Salvation at Lake Park Baptist Church where we all grew up together. Monte has always been a wonderfully kind person, and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Tillman family and friends. I pray that God will grant you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Monte will be always loved and remembered.

Paula, Lynda and I are so sorry for your loss. You two have been some of our favorites from our days at South Georgia College and Georgia Southern. Monte and I go back to our days in high school, when North Augusta and Richmond played baseball. You and Monte were a perfect pair and have been our friends from the ole school days. Ms. Paula - My heart is broken for you, for Kim, for Russell and for all the many friends that truly adored Mr. Monte. He was definitely a "one-of-a-kind" kind of man! I loved to see his smiling face, to listen to his funny stories and jokes, and to hear him play the piano! Mr. Monte had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and good about themselves.
