Mrs. Nancy Faye Anderson Preslar, 68, wife of Terry Preslar, died late Friday, December 22, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Born in Register/Anderson Community, she was a daughter of R. F. and Lillian Cowart Anderson.  She was a Baptist and was a retired accountant.  She worked as a civilian for the United States Armed Forces and later Canoochee Transport.  Mrs. Preslar lived in Germany, Oklahoma, and Hawaii before moving back to her home in 1995 with her husband, Terry.  She was a member of the American Legion Post 90 Auxiliary in Statesboro.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Preslar was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Anderson, and Jimmy Anderson.

Surviving are her husband, Terry Preslar of Register/Anderson Community; a daughter, Marcy Pollard Young of Leefield; two sons, Scott Pollard (Lisa Bonnett) of Savannah and Jeff Preslar (Kim) of Pittsview, Alabama; a sister Sherry Anderson Smith (Jadon) of Register/Anderson Community; a brother, Dennis Anderson (Jane) of Statesboro; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Metter First Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glenville.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the American Legion, Post 90, Auxiliary, Statesboro Post.
