Claudine Sikes Obituary

Claudine Williamson Sikes, 92, of Cobbtown passed away late Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Forsyth.

Born in Metter, she was a daughter of Claude and Nella Williamson.  Mrs. Sikes was a member of Conner’s Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  She worked for Tattnall County Schools at Reidsville Elementary School for many years.  Mrs. Sikes loved her children and grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband, Tyner Sikes, her grandson, Trent Sikes, and her sister, Etheleyne Hardee.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy H. and Nina Sikes of Shellman’s Bluff, Jerry "Hoppy" and Kathy Sikes, of Mt. Vernon, and Johnny C. and Cindy Sikes, of Hagan; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Carl Humphrey, of Forsyth; one brother Hugh Williamson and his wife, Mary of Cobbtown; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until the funeral hour at the funeral home on Saturday.

Interment will be in Sunlight Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Conner’s Baptist Church, P. O. Box 397, Cobbtown, Georgia  30420.
