Lori Anzaldua Obituary

Lori Ann Wigger Anzaldua, 53, of Brunswick and formerly of Metter, died Wednesday  April 10, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Anzaldua was born in Titusville, Florida and grew up in Metter and was the daughter of the late Ralphie Mae Lanier Wigger.  She was a retired teacher, having taught at Edgemere Elementary in Plainview Texas.  Mrs. Anzaldua was of the Baptist faith and had a heart for helping others.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Scott.

Surviving are her son, Josh Anzaldua of San Marcos, Texas; her daughter, Katelyn Anzaldua of San Marcos, Texas; the father of her children, Pete Anzaldua of San Marcos, Texas; her brother, James Cowart of Panhandle, Texas; a sister, Barbara Scott of Bakersfield, California and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until the funeral hour at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Interment will follow in Lake Cemetery.
