Clayton Jack “Clay” Sikes, 36, of Collins, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his residence.
Clay was born in Statesboro and lived all of his life in Tattnall County. He was a livestock farmer and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Clay loved to hunt and fish and in his earlier years, enjoyed working at Dixie Livestock. He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Willis Sikes.
Surviving are his son, Jaxson Sikes; his daughter, Bentlee Sikes; his mother, Kay Sikes; a sister, Jamie Edenfield (Tietgen); a brother, Clayton Lane Sikes; the mother of his children, Kara Sikes; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4 until 6 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 6 o’clock on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.
Interment will be private.
