Delan Bowen

Delan Bowen, 82, passed away October 28, 2020 at home surrounded by his family and under the care of hospice.

Born and raised in Cobbtown, he was a son of Leroy and Netter Kicklighter Bowen.  During his working career, Mr. Bowen worked for Green Grocery, Thomas Betts and Great Dane. He was a member of the Conners Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing and climbing trees. Everyone knew him as the “fix it all” guy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Isaac Bowen and his half sister Wynell Herrington.

Survivors are his niece; Jennifer Walker (Willis); his great nieces, Mollie Walker and Destiny Willis (Daniel); his great nephew, Jordan Walker; his special friends, Melba Gerrald and Ricky and Liz Walker.

 The graveside service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon in Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.

The family will receive friends and family from 1 until 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the graveside on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown is in charge of the arrangements.
