Tony Garza, Jr Obituary

Tony Garza, Jr., 80 years of life returned home Saturday April 3, 2021 to be with the love of his life and son.  He was the son of Antionio and Antolena Garza, Sr. He was one of fourteen children; eight brothers and six sisters. He was a farmer who worked tirelessly for his family.  Upon retiring, he enjoyed yard work and mostly spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Garza, Jr.

Surviving are his daughters; Angela Garza-Garces and four grandsons, Polo, Andres, Omar, and Estevan Garces of Metter; daughters, Antolena (Robert)  Taylor of Arkansas, Sarah Garza of Arkansas, Mary (Don) Howton of Mississippi, Sandra Garza of Arkansas, Lena Lee of Arkansas, and Jennifer (Clarence) Jones of Arkansas; sons, Tommy (Courtney) Garza of Texas, Johnny (Precious) Garza of Louisana, Ronnie (J.B.) Garza of Texas, Monte (Cassandra) Brubaker of Indiana; one daughter in law, Emma Garza of Texas; fourty-four grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; eight brothers; six sisters and several nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel at 11 o’clock in the morning.   

His final resting place will be Ellenton, Florida.

Kenndy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter will be in charge of the arrangements
