Alexis Phillips Obituary

Alexis Lee “Lexi” Phillips (Lexi Lou), 15, of Bulloch County, died late Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Lexi was born on December 9, 2002 in Bulloch County. She had a deep love for her family and was so special and cherished by all of her many, many family members. Lexi loved her pearl necklaces, going out to eat, meeting new people, and enjoyed playing with her cousin, Cali.  One of her favorite things to do was to watch her movies. She gave her love unselfishly to others and touched the lives of everybody she met and was always happy no matter the circumstances. Lexi was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ronny Lee and her paternal grandfather, Gene Phillips.

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Jennifer and Glen Craun of Oliver; her father, Tony Phillips of Register; maternal grandmother, Glenda Lee of Brooklet; paternal grandmother, Georgia Anne Phillips of Register; her very special aunt, Tonya Phillips of Statesboro step-brothers, Andrew and Jay; uncles and aunts, Jeramie Lee (Lynn) of Brooklet, Tad Phillips (Tammy), and Travis Phillips (Jackie) all of Statesboro; cousins Shelby, Allison, Wynne, and Gus; and a large extended family.

The funeral will be held 12 o’clock Monday, November 5, 2018 at Brooklet United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at the church on Monday.

Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made by donating a blanket, or other donation to Children’s Hospital of Savannah at Memorial Health Center, 4700 Waters Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
