Elizabeth Anne (Ross) Mullis

Elizabeth Anne Ross Mullis, 74, of Pulaski and formerly of Statesboro died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lake City, Florida, she was a daughter of Morgan and Amelia Brown.  Mrs. Mullis was a Baptist and was a graduate of Atlanta Business College where she received a General Business Degree.  She was retired from Wal-Mart Distribution Center of Statesboro where she worked as a Comp Troller for many years.  In earlier years she worked with Brown Transport and Consolidated Freightways.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mullis was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Jefferson “Jay” Mullis.

Surviving are her two sons, Joseph Kenneth Mullis (Kelly Gibson) of Pooler and Jeffery Paul Mullis (Tonya Clark) of Leefield; her nine grandchildren, Lauren Mullis Reeves (Chris), Tori Mullis Sutton (Brian), Kaitlin Mullis, Amelia Mullis, Jay Mullis, Kendall Mullis and Matt Bush; her five great grandchildren, Kayleigh Hendrix, Amanda Hendrix, Gavin Reeves, Raven Reeves and Jaxon Sutton; two sisters, Katherine Mason (Herb) and Margo Wilson (David) all of Valdosta; a brother, Joe Brown of Valdosta.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2 until 3 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The memorial service will be private.
