James Powell Obituary

James Wallace Powell, 63, of Beaufort, South Carolina and formerly of Cobbtown, died Monday, October 22, 2018 in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Mr. Powell was a son of Aaron and Nora Wildes Powell. He was self employed doing handyman work for others and loved to fish a shrimp.

Surviving are his mother, Nora Powell; two brothers, Billy Jean Powell and Robert Dale Powell; two sisters, Donna Marie Powell and Barbara Ann Powell; and four grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Burial will be private.
