LaJuan Anderson Wilkes Schwartz

LaJuan Anderson Wilkes Schwartz, 83, of Metter, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the residence of her daughter in Statesboro.

Born in Collins, she was a daughter of Harley and Rebie Martin Anderson.  Mrs. LaJuan was a retired sales clerk, having worked for BC Moores, now Goody’s, and for several years was the supervisor for the Argo Garment Plant in Metter. She was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and in later years attended Temple in Vidalia and Savannah with her late husband, Aaron Schwartz.  Mrs. LaJuan was preceded in death by her first husband, John Kelly Wilkes, II, her second husband, Aaron Schwartz and her son, John Kelly Wilkes, III.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Curlin of Statesboro; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

The memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
