Ricky Biggers

Edward “Ricky” Biggers, 68, of Metter died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Crisp County Medical Center in Cordele, Georgia.

Born in Cochran, he was a son of George M. and Memory Fowler Biggers.  Mr. Biggers was a veteran, having served in the United States Armed Forces.  He was Methodist and attended Metter United Methodist Church in years past.  Mr. Biggers loved hunting and fishing and rambling in the woods.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Biggers was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Biggers.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Boaen Biggers of Collins; three daughters, Diane Biggers-Clay (Ferdinand) of Collins, April Biggers of Pembroke, and Brittany Boaen (Jacob) of Cobbtown; two sons, Jason Edward Biggers of Lafayette, Louisiana, and George M. Biggers (Jessica) of Statesboro, Georgia;  two brothers, Roy Biggers(Roxanne) of Metter, and Robert Biggers of Metter; two sisters, Judy Woods of Vidalia and Debora Wilson of Yulee, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

The funeral will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

Interment will follow in Lake Cemetery.
