Daniel “Dan” S. Cline, 65, of Metter died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.
Mr. Cline was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived in Savannah for forty years before moving Metter for over twenty years. He was a helicopter mechanic having worked at Hunter Army Airfield for years before his retirement. Mr. Cline was of the Catholic faith and loved hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He was a Patriot who loved his country and loved the ocean and boating.
Surviving are his wife, Sherri Cline of Metter; daughter, Alicia Daniel Cline of Savannah; step-daughters, Sarah Davis (Marcus) of Phoenix, Arizona, Heather DeHart (Michael) of Island, Kentucky, and Rachel Stringer (Jacob) of Livermore, Kentucky; a sister, Donna Cline Seaton (Larry) of Jacksonville, Florida; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. Cline will be held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
