Angela J. Spence Herrington

Angela J. Spence Herrington of Metter passed away early Monday morning, October 17, 2022, at Candler County Hospital.

Angela was born in Swainsboro and was a daughter of Lela and Walter Spence, Sr.   She graduated from Swainsboro High School.  Angela received her associates degree in business administration from Southeastern Technical College in the nineteen-nineties and worked there for many years in the Accounting Department.  She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Spence, Sr.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Herrington of Covington; her grandchildren, Joseph Sheppard and Josey Herrington; mother, Lela Page Spence; her brother, Walter Spence, Jr. of Swainsboro; and her sister, Janice (Ned) Raymond of Covington.

A private graveside service will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Toombs County.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
