Bertie Lee Conner
June 12, 1931 — March 18, 2015
Bertie Lee Mosley Conner, 83, of Metter died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was born in Truetlen County and lived most of her life in Metter. Mrs. Conner was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She loved her flowers, fishing and being Nanny to Adaline for the past 10 months. She was a member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Deron and Linda Conner; a daughter and son-in-law, Polly and Jerome Medlock all of Metter; two grandchildren, Joshua Conner and Heather Thigpen and husband, Michael; a great grandchild, Adeline Thigpen; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 am at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. Craig Sapp officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery.
