Clemencia Ledesma Olvera

Clemencia Ledesma Olvera, age 65, passed away on August 10, 2026, at Candler Hospital.

Clemencia was born on April 6, 1961, to parents Antelmo Ledesma and Ma Cruz Olvera in Queretaro, Mexico.

Clemencia was a hard worker, having worked in agriculture and farm work for most of her working years. She was of the Catholic faith, and she loved her flower garden, cooking her famous tamales, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren who she loved so deeply.

Those that will cherish her memory are her parents, Antelmo Ledesma and Ma Cruz Olvera; her sons, Giovanie Acevedo and Christopher Ledezma; daughters, Iris Ledesma and Irina Ledesma; brothers, Manuel Ledesma Olvera, Miguel Angel Ledesma Olvera, and Juan Ledesma Olvera; sisters, Maria Luz Ledesma Olvera, Rosalina Ledesma Olvera, Celia Ledesma Olvera, Evangelina Ledesma Olvera, Maria Rosario Ledesma Olvera, Noelina Ledesma Olvera, and Gloria Ledesma Olvera; grandchildren, Michael Acevedo, Jerome Long, Cristian Santiago, Ethan Garces, Sebastian Salazar, Nicholas Salazar, Caroline Perez, Leila Ramos, and Hazel Blayne Ledesma, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter.

The Mass will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and Newman Center with Father Jason Adams Officiating.

Internment will follow at Lake Cemetery in Metter.
