Curt Edward Cartee

Curt Edward Cartee, 54, passed away August 9, 2026, at his residence under Hospice.

He was the son of Ellis Cartee and the late Linda Cason Cartee. He worked at Walmart distribution center. His passion was to repair small engines, and he helped anyone who called him in need. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Cason Cartee.

Surviving are his wife; Chandra Cartee; sons, Christopher Cartee, Carl Cartee, Collin Cartee, Caleb Cartee and Jacob Waters; a daughter, Kacey Jarrell; father, Ellis Cartee; sisters, Denise (Alton) Gray and Nikki Morgan; a granddaughter, Maddalynn “Maddie” Key and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church in Metter.

A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church.

The graveside service will be held at a later date.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter, is in charge of the arrangements.
