Ethel Stanley Waldron

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ethel Stanley Waldron, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Born on October 16, 1949, in Egypt, Georgia, Ethel passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in the care of Affinis Hospice at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation in Metter, Georgia.

Ethel was a devoted member of Eldora Baptist Church, where she found spiritual solace and community. A graduate of Groves High School, she made contributions to her community through her work as a plant worker at the Dairy Mountain Milk Company. Ethel was known for her love of the outdoors and had a particular passion for gardening and keeping horses.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ron Waldron, and her daughter, Kristy Hope Waldron. Her sister, Alice Ertley, and her brother-in-law, Lawrence, will miss her dearly, as will her beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Gage, and Frankie. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Paul Stanley and Frankie Edwards Stanley, her brothers, Kenneth Paul Stanley Jr. and Alfred Allen Stanley, as well as her daughter, Amber Dawn Waldron.

A funeral service will be held at Eldora Baptist Church on Saturday, November 15, 2025 12 PM. Visitation will take place one hour before the service, allowing family and friends to gather and remember the treasured memories Ethel created throughout her lifetime. Following the funeral service, she will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.
