Glen Alan "Al" Strickland, 62, of Cobbtown died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Azalea Health and Rehab under Community Hospice care. A native and lifelong resident of Cobbtown, he was the son of Jon Albert and Nelwyn Strickland. He was a 1969 Metter High School graduate and was a plumber. Al loved to fish and could grow the best garden you ever saw. He was member of the Cobbtown Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Johnthan and Kim Strickland of Cobbtown; two sisters, Susan Mackey of Valdosta and Nancy Smith of Cobbtown; two grandchildren, Payton and Ayden Strickland of Cobbtown.
The family will have a private memorial service.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
