Grace Louise Morgan Beasley, age 72, a lifelong resident of Guyton, passed away peacefully, Thursday January 15, 2026, at Candler Hospital after a brief illness. After a lifetime of devotion and short time apart, she is now reunited with her cherished daughter, April, whom she loved and cared for so deeply.

Louise was born October 11, 1953, to the late Hubert Thomas and Evelyn Priester Morgan. She graduated from Effingham County High School in 1971 where she was homecoming queen. Louise lived with a genuine heart and generous spirit, always putting the needs of others before her own. She found joy in caring for others and she was deeply devoted to her family. She faithfully spent time in Scripture and devotionals, drawing comfort, guidance, and strength from her faith. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed cooking, surrounding herself with flowers, and spending time with her dearly loved dogs. Louise shared a profound bond with her daughter, shaped by a lifetime of loving care, advocacy, and devotion. She was her daughter’s greatest source of strength, providing a love that never wavered, cherishing every moment and finding deep purpose in being her constant source of comfort and protection.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter April Michelle Morgan Beasley, her parents Hubert Thomas and Evelyn Morgan, her brother-in-law Danny Skipper, her sister, Marian Martin, her brother, Gerald Morgan, and her nephew, Ellis Morgan.

Survivors include her sister, Sandra Morgan Skipper (Robert Chance) of Guyton, GA; two brothers, Thomas (Fran) Morgan of Guyton, Charles (Ruthann) Morgan of Rincon, a sister-in-law, Alicia Morgan of Rincon, a brother in law, George Martin of Guyton, sisters-in-laws Maxine (JR) Ewing of Alabama, Ann Alexander of Metter, GA, Patsy Johnson of Metter, GA and Brenda (Bobby) Brazell of Faulkville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, all of whom she dearly loved. Louise also shared a very special bond with her two nephews Alan W. Skipper (son Preston) (Jordan Sears) of Statesboro, GA and Philip D. Skipper of Guyton, GA, whom she loved deeply and cared for as sons with the devotion of a mother.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home Effingham Chapel. 2460 Hwy. 21 South, Rincon, GA 31326.

The funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home Effingham Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery Annex.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation to honor the life and memory of her beloved daughter, April.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kennedy Funeral Homes-Metter.
