Hugh Mixon Lively

Hugh M. Lively, 59, of Collins Lake/Twin City, died Friday, June 5, 2020 at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice and his family.

Born in Bulloch County, he was a son of Hubert Lively and Irene Mixon Lively.  Hugh worked for the City of Statesboro for many years and was a farmer.  He was a Christian a loved yard work, fishing, hunting and NASCAR.

Surviving are his wife of forty-four years, Joann Lucas Lively; two daughters, Marie Johnson and Miranda Lively; grandchildren, Wade Wilkerson, Kolie Lively and Drake Powell; a sister, Janie Lanier; a brother, Danny Lively; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held.
