James Brooks Childers, 53, of Metter and son of the late James and Ruth Childers, died Wednesday, October 12, 2015 at his residence.
Surviving are his sister, Deborah K. Maraman (Mack) of Metter, and one niece and one nephew.
A Private service for the family will be held at a later date.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
