Janice Neder Richardson

Janice Neder Richardson, of Twin City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Born on February 17, 1945, in Vidalia, Georgia, Janice dedicated her life to education and serving others. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Georgia Southern College, now Georgia Southern University. She began her teaching career in elementary education in Dublin and Milledgeville before later joining the staff at Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Richardson, who passed away in 1999, and her son, Robert Richardson, who passed away in 2017.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Richardson of West Hartford, Connecticut; her devoted companion, Stewart Key of Twin City; and several dear friends whom she loved and cherished.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, July 2, 2026, from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, in Metter.

Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel.

A reception will be held following the service at 430 South Leroy Street in Metter.
