Joel Walden

Joel Matthew Walden, 58 years old, entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2025 in Metter, GA.

He was born on June 28, 1967 in Augusta, GA where he resided most of his life. He moved to Chesapeake, VA in February 2016 for a fresh start at a new life where he met the love of his life in May of the same year, Wendy Mink. He loved her ‘til he took his last breath.

Joel enjoyed NASCAR, traveling, and sports cars. He loved listening to country music and rock & roll. His favorite foods were seafood and anything sweet. He started NBIC the summer of 2022 and gave his life over to God.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Walden.

Survivors include his daughters: Isabella Batnich and Taylor Walden. Grandchildren: Raelyn, Aliana, Katalina, Silas, and one on the way. Siblings: Royce Blackston (Susan) and Lisa Walden Harris. And many extended family.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Joel Walden on Saturday, November 15th at 3 PM at Three Nails Gospel Church located at 4569 Cox Rd, Evans, GA 30809.
