Lorena Young Collins of Statesboro and formerly of Metter, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany she was the daughter of Charles and Peggy Young. Lorena lived in Metter for several years before moving to Statesboro a few years ago. She worked in the legal profession for several years and worked as Paralegal with H Lehman Franklin Jr PC in Statesboro for the last three years. Lorena loved going to the beach, roller-skating, and reading. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Young.
Surviving are her daughters, Brittany and Mallory Collins of Vidalia; her mother, Peggy Young; and her sister, Jamie Young.
The memorial service will be held 2 o'clock Saturday in the chapel of Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
