Mary Phillips

Mary L. Phillips, 78, of Collins, Ga passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Meadows Park Health and Rehab.

She was a long time resident of Cobbtown, Ga and daughter of Thomas and Avis Buckins Dyal. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She liked nothing more than a good book. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Wadsworth.

Surviving are her sons; Jay (Tammy) Phillips and Sandy Phillips; Angie Hansen; sisters Joanne Kilgore and Loretta Gregory; grandchildren, Elliot (Layne) Phillips, Ethan (Caitlyn) Phillips, Emiley (Wesley) Kennedy, Devan (Michelle) Phillips, Dylan (Ashley) Phillips, Briar Phillips, Kaydin Phillips; great-grandchildren, Grayson Phillips, Fisher Phillips, Grant Phillips, Alexis Phillips, Aurora Phillips, Rosalee Phillips, Raiden Phillips and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service for the family will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at three o’clock at Sunlight Cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
