Nathanael “Nathan” Seal, of Metter, passed away on June 14th, 2026 in Augusta, Georgia.
Nathan was born on December 24, 1990, in Savannah, Georgia, and was a son of Wayne Seal and Natalie Douglas. He graduated from Effingham County High School and went on to attend Arizona State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He was currently pursuing his master’s degree through The Citadel.
Nathan proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and continued his service through the United States National Guard Reserves with the 20th Special Forces Group. In recent years, he worked for Paraton as a military contractor specializing in cybersecurity, a career he greatly enjoyed and found deeply rewarding.
Outside of his professional and military service, Nathan was an avid computer gamer and enjoyed collecting firearms. He was passionate about his work and dedicated to serving others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Natascha Drumm Seal of Metter; his daughter, Farrah Seal; his father, Wayne Seal and his wife Jodi Caldwell; his mother, Natalie Douglas; his brothers, Zach and Jacob Seal; and his sister, Hannah Douglas; his mother in law, Lourdes Drumm and his father in law Volker Drumm.
The funeral service will be held 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
The family will receive friends from 1 o'clock until the funeral hour at the funeral home on Tuesday.
