Sandra Faye "Sandy" Garrett Morgan

Sandra Faye “Sandy” Garrett Morgan, of Cobbtown, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia surrounded by her most loved family members.

Sandra was born in November of 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida to Travis and Daisy Crews Garrett.

Sandra worked as a paraprofessional in both Florida and Georgia with her most recent position being with the Metter school system. She adored working with children. Sandra was a member of the Reidsville Church of God for 16 years. She was active with the church choir; she taught Sunday school and worked in the children’s nursery. She loved God, her family and her church, which was evident in the way people loved on and spoke about her. Sandra enjoyed her time with her family and her church that loved her dearly. Her grandchildren and great grandchild were the joy of her heart. God saw her fit to take her home to rest on this Resurrection Day at the park.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ronald Morgan of Cobbtown; two daughters, Missy Faircloth (Sean) of Rincon and Mandy Tyson (Tony) of Cobbtown; four grandchildren, Andrew Faircloth, Gavin Tyson, Logan Tyson and Emma Tyson; one great grandchild, Amira Faircloth; a sister, Teressa Garrett Bell; and niece and nephew, Lisa Hilton and David Bell.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted at Reidsville Church of God on Wednesday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with Pastor Rodney Gibbs officiating and Pastor Sean Faircloth to assist.

Interment will be in Sunlight Cemetery.
