Terry Ann Simpson Post

Terry Ann Simpson Post, of Statesboro, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at her residence.

Terry was born in Spokane Valley, Washington, and was the daughter of Andrew Finis Simpson and Frances Gibler Simpson. In 1992, she married the love of her life, Glen Post.

Terry worked in accounting for Kinder Morgan in California, where she and Glen lived before moving to Statesboro in 2023 to be closer to her daughter, Jenifer.

A devout Christian, Terry was a member of Crossroads Community Church in California. She loved playing the piano and shared her musical talents with the churches she attended throughout her life. She especially loved traditional hymns and had a beautiful soprano voice. In years past, she enjoyed performing at open mic nights on Friday evenings at the Old Dodge Saloon.

Terry loved Dolly Parton, country music, and going out to eat. Above all, she cherished her family and absolutely loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Glen Post of Statesboro, GA; her daughter, Jenifer Lanier (Kelvin) of Brooklet, GA; her son, David Pacheco of Huntington Beach, CA; her stepson, John David Post (Miranda) of Darby, MT; her sibling, Morrie Rowan; her grandchildren, Kaylee Danielle, Courtney Maniquis, Bobby Butterfield, Alexis Lawson, Jonathan Post, Jake Beckman, Paul Beckman, Fiona Pacheco, Taj Pacheco, Addison Clawson, and Alivia Clawson; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey Woods and Jameson Rosel; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church in Brooklet. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
