Brenda Burnsed Vincent

Brenda Burnsed Vincent, of Metter, died Monday, July 4, 2022 under the care of her family.

In her early years, Brenda worked for the City of Pembroke. Her last and favorite job was cooking and feeding all the Wiggles and Giggles kids.  She was a member of Grace and Truth House of Worship and enjoyed singing for the Lord.  You could always find her out in her yards planting and watering plants. She never met a stranger and no matter who you were if you showed up on her door you would most definitely leave with a full stomach.  She lived by her favorite saying: “Riches and Gold she had none, but her jewels & pearls were her children “.  In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a son, Preston Walls, granddaughters, Presley Jean Woodcock and Crystal Rhodes, brothers Charlie and Bill Vincent, and a sister Wanda McKinney.

She is survived by her Children, Melissa Walls (James), Lonnie Walls, Roy Walls, April Bragg (Scott), Jennifer McCullough (Martin Barrett), Brenda K Rhodes ( George ), Angel Mixon (Lance), Randi Olliff (Adam); additional kids, Jimmy “Bubba” McCullough (Donna), Angie McCullough, Paul McCullough (Peggie); thirty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter from 5 until 8 o’clock in the evening and Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5 until 6 o’clock in the evening.

The funeral will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the evening at the Pavilion in Lake Cemetery.  Interment will follow in Lake Cemetery.
