Charles Collum Obituary

Charles Collum, 80, passed away Friday August 14, 2020 under Hospice.

Born in Hughes Arkansas, he was the son of Travis Collum and Geneva Spencer Collum. He served 24 years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, attaining the rank of Colonel.  He moved to Metter, GA upon retirement in 1989.  He was a member of Metter First Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Debbie Colum; two sons, Mark Collum of Chattanooga, TN and Andrew Collum; two brothers, Grady Collum of Hughes, AR and Curtis Collum of Tiogo, LA; four grandchildrem, Jed Collum, William Collum, Garet Collum and Hailey Collum. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 18, 2020 from 5 until 7 o’clock in the evening at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel in Metter.

A Graveside service will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning, Wednesday August 19, 2020 at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
