Ginger Carroll Oliver of Hilton Head, South Carolina went to her heavenly home after a short illness on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Ginger was the daughter of Joyce Nail and Carroll Oliver of Cobbtown, Georgia. Ginger grew up in Cobbtown and graduated from Reidsville High School. She was a member of Cobbtown Baptist Church. Ginger was a business owner in Savannah for many years and was currently employed with Red Fish Restaurant in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She had a soft heart and a giving soul. She was an animal lover and had many pets over the years. She fed and took care of hundreds of stray cats each day. Ginger was full of life and everyone loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Nail Oliver; her maternal grandparents, Gertie and Odis Nail; her paternal grandparents, Rosie and Ottis Oliver; her cousin, Lynn Alberson Fail and her aunt and uncle, Jean and Jim Reynolds.
She is survived by her father, Carroll Oliver of Cobbtown; her significant other, Stacy Garbett of Hilton Head, South Carolina; her golden retriever, Hunter; her cat, Dixie; her aunts, Vera Rogers, Janice (Elbert) Alberson, Betty (Bill) Kulick; her uncle, Buddy (Ellen) Nail; cousins, Leigh Alberson, Sandy Yates, Tiffany (Tim) Walker, Julie (Ken) Mindt, David (Tara) Rogers, Michael (Tasha) Rogers, Brett (Meghan) Greene, Billy Kulick, Dustin (Lindsay) Nail, Dirk (Jessica) Nail; and several other cousins and relatives; she is also survived by Stacy’s parents, Gail and Terry Garbett of Rincon; his brother, Trevor (Stacey) Garbett; his sisters, Roxanne (Rob) Harkcom and Reagen Garbett.
A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown, Georgia.
The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Carroll Oliver – 2019 Evergreen Church Road in Cobbtown, Georgia.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown is in charge of the arrangements.
