Kenneth Fulmer, Sr, of Metter, died early Monday morning, August 29, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Fulmer was a son of Jessie and Nezzie Fulmer and lived in Metter for most of his life. He and his brother owned Fulmer Brothers Logging. Mr. Fulmer also worked in land clearing and was in pond construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William Billy Fulmer and Kenneth Fulmer, Jr. and a daughter, Vickie Kersey; his brothers, Junior Fulmer, Albert Fulmer, and Wesley Fulmer; and his sister, Dorothy Hutto
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Fulmer of Metter; his daughters, Linda Sowell Woods (William), Joann Deal (Henderson), Sandra Kay Samples (Blaine) and Wanda Jean Fulmer; his brother, Dennis Fulmer (Dorothy); his sisters, Marie Goodman, Minnie Goodman (Ray), and Evelyn Thompson; nineteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
The funeral service will be held 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
Interment will be in Lake Cemetery.
