Maria Guadalupe Benitez known to everyone as “Lupina” was born July 10th, 1962 to Francisco Morales Perez and the late Enedina Garcia went home to be with her mother and God on April 6 th, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend to everyone who entered into her life. She enjoyed gardening, attending church at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Claxton, spending time with family but most of all spending time with her husband of 35 years, Juan Benitez, who she leaves behind and her grandchildren. She also leaves behind her son, Gerardo “Jerry” Benitez (Yessica), Rolando “Rolly” Rodriguez who she loved as a son, Four grandchildren, Anthony Benitez, Gerardo Benitez Jr, Sebastian Benitez, and Alexis Benitez, Brothers, Francisco (Alicia) Morales Jr, Arturo (Rosa) Morales, Roberto Morales, and Mariano Morales, sisters, Leticia (Rolando) Rodriguez, Sandra Morales, Juanita (Daniel) Nevarez. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, godchildren who she saw as her own. Viewing will be Monday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 11th from 5 to 8pm at Kennedy Funeral Home in Metter, GA with a Rosary starting at 7pm. Mass will be at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Fredy Angel on Wednesday, April 12th at 11am with burial following at Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers are Samuel Soto, Ricky Soto, Fernando Morales, Alberto Rodriguez, Rolando “Rolly” Rodriguez, Alex Morales, Carlos Morales, Bobby Morales. Honorary Pallbearer: Jesus Ramirez.

Maria Guadalupe Benitez mejor conocida como Lupina nació el 10 de Julio del 1962 a Francisco Morales Perez y Enedina Garcia “QPD”, se fue a estar con su madre y con Dios el 6 de Abril del 2023. Era una esposa, madre, tía, hermana y amiga de todos los que entraban a su vida. Le encantaba pasar tiempo en su jardín, ir a misa en Claxton a la Iglesia San Cristóbal, pasar tiempo con su familia pero sobre todo ella amaba pasar su tiempo con su esposo de 35 años de casados, Juan Benitez. Ella deja en vida a su esposo, a su hijo Gerardo “Jerry” (Yessica) Benitez, Rolando “Rolly” Rodriguez Jr. a quien consideraba hijo, cuatro nietos, Anthony Benitez, Gerardo Benitez Jr., Sebastian Benitez y Alexis Benitez, hermanos, Francisco (Alicia) Morales Jr., Arturo (Rosa) Morales, Roberto Morales y Mariano Morales, hermanas, Leticia (Rolando) Rodriguez, Sandra Morales, y Juanita (Daniel) Nevarez. También deja atrás muchos sobrinos, sobrinas y ahijados que eran como sus propios hijos. El velatorio se tomara acabo el lunes 10 de Abril de 2023 y martes 11 de Abril de 2023 a partir de las 5 de la tarde con el rosario empezando a las 7 de la noche. Misa será el Miércoles, 12 de Abril de 2023 en la Iglesia Católica Sagrada Familia en Metter, Georgia a las 11 de la mañana con el Padre Fredy Angel oficiando. Portados del féretro son Samuel Soto, Ricky Soto, Fernando Morales, Alberto Rodriguez, Rolando “Rolly” Rodriguez, Alex Morales, Carlos Morales y Bobby Morales. Portados honorable del féretro es Jesus Ramirez
