Ray E Bryant Obituary

Ray E Bryant, 90, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, peacefully at his residence.

He was born in Emanuel County and the son of Raymond and Blonnie Sutton Bryant.  Ray worked as a maintenance engineer at R.R. Donnelly before retiring.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army and an active member of the American Legion.  He enjoyed gardening and going out to eat with family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Bryant; son, Alan Bryant; brother, Julius “JW” Bryant; sister, Vertie Mae Daniels. 

Surviving are his sisters; Bobbie Faye Simerson (Everett), Martha Sue Bolin (Joe); caregiver and niece, Edna Davalos (Tony) and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 10-11 in the morning at Lake Primitive Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 11 o’clock in the morning at the Lake Primitive Baptist Church with Paul Moore officiating.

Interment will be at Lake Cemetery. 

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
