Shirley Anderson

Shirley Anderson, 70, passed away Tuesday July 14, 2020 in Galivants Ferry, SC. Born in Lyons, she was a daughter of Henry Sylvester Sanders, Sr. and Ruby Mae Conley Sanders.  Shirley was a retired bank teller having worked with Wachovia Bank and was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church in Conway, SC.  She enjoyed cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Sylvester Sanders, Jr. 

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law; Tammy and James Warren of Galivants Ferry, SC, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Roy and Marlene Sanders of Cobbtown, GA, Bruce and Earldene Sanders of Vidalia, GA, Jack and Billie Jean Sanders of Savannah, GA, and one sister-in-law; Mary Sanders of Brunswick, GA, one grandson; Michael Pate Warren of Galivants Ferry, SC and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel of Cobbtown, GA.

A graveside service will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning, Friday, July 17, 2020 at the family cemetery located at 1468 Cedar Creek Church Road in Collins, GA.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel of Cobbtown is in charge of the arrangements.
